Jack Bobridge has been forced to withdraw from the Tour Down Under following his crash at the Australian road championships.
The GreenEDGE rider injured his left arm and wrist when he fell from his bike as strong winds played havoc at the event in Ballarat.
The world track champion was taken to hospital and, while scans revealed no broken bones, his team have decided to pull him from the UCI WorldTour opener around Adelaide, starting on Sunday.
GreenEDGE, making their debut this season, are yet to announce who will replace the Adelaide-born Bobridge.
